Amazon Hose & Rubber Company recently had it’s gold medal service put to the test by one of our customers who was providing fire fighting equipment for the 2016 Rio Olympic games. This specialized piece of equipment had several competitive hoses fail during their routine testing procedures. Our field hose specialist was called out to the test pad to determine a solution for their problem. The issue was that the customer was using a fabric-covered layflat hose that was not suitable for the pressure spikes produced by the supply pump.

Amazon Hose custom fabricated a supply line with a higher-pressure rating, performed hydro-testing and provided a certification that the customer could present to the Olympic Officials and Board of Directors.

The suppliers that Amazon Hose & Rubber Company used for this specific application were Jason Industrial for the hose and Dixon Valve for the necessary hose ends and NST adapters.
